Bowling Green Police responded to a report of an unknown man found Sunday around 3 a.m., passed out in a bedroom in the 200 block of North Enterprise Street. The man had reportedly vomited in the bedroom closet, plus damaged the doorknob and window blinds in the room.
The 20-year-old man was highly intoxicated and could not respond to police. Bowling Green Fire Division transported him to Wood County Hospital.
Police asked the residents of the home if they wanted the man charged with burglary, which they said they did not.
The man was cited for criminal trespassing, criminal mischief, and for being underage and under the influence of alcohol.
The next day, the man came to the police station to receive his citation, and said he wanted to apologize to the residents of the home, and apologized to police for his behavior.
