Irene M. (Laytart) Eckelbarger Brown, 99, of Bowling Green, Ohio died November 27, 2023.
Irene was born in Portage, Ohio to the late Ernest and Gladys (Johnston) Laytart. She married Kenneth W. Brown in Portage, Ohio and he preceded her in death on January 15, 2005. She was also preceded in death by two step-sons: Kenneth Brown Jr. and John Aring. Irene is survived by three daughters: Judy Baker of Glendale, Arizona, Penny Sue Klier of Maumee, Ohio and Gloria Harmon of Bowling Green, Ohio; a son: Thomas Eckelbarger of Pleasant View, Tennessee; a sister: Frances Courtney of Bowling Green, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great grandchildren.
Irene was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church. She enjoyed cross-stitching, painting and wood crafts.
A Graveside Service will be held for Irene on Saturday, December 2, 20234 at 1:00 PM in Union Hill Cemetery, Bowling Green.
