Jacquelyn “Jackie” Krohn, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on February 15, 1937, Jacquelyn called Haskins, OH, her home and spent her lifetime spreading joy to those around her.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Paul Krohn, along with her children, Tammy Meller, Scott (Christine) Krohn, and Lisa Krohn. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Ryan (Whitnie), Aaron (Sarah), Dustin (Reagan), Zachary, and Jacquelyn (Matt), and her cherished great-granddaughters, Amelia, Lilah, Savannah. She was looking forward to meeting her great-grandson expected soon. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Eileen (Steel) Koepfler, and her dear brother, Jerry “Butch” Koepfler.
For more than 30 years, Jackie worked as a cafeteria worker for Toledo Public Schools and made lasting friendships throughout her career. She cherished her time spent at the family cottage on the Toussaint River and loved making memories with her family, especially her three great-granddaughters. Jackie was also actively involved with her church family at Haskins Community Church, where she found great joy and purpose.
A private burial will take place at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Jackie’s vibrant life on her birthday, February 15, 2025, 11:00 AM, at Haskins Community Church.
Memorial contributions in her honor may be gifted to the church.
