James Richard Robertson,75, of Perrysburg, passed away September 1, 2018 on his family farm. Jim was born July 24, 1943 in Bowling Green to Alfred Alexander and Lena Getrude (Tyson) Robertson. On July 18, 1964 he married Rebecca (Voland) at the Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg.
Jim was a lifelong farmer on his family farm in Middleton Township. He was the Head Custodian of the Perrysburg Middle School for over 20 years. Jim was a member of the Zoar Lutheran Church and the Wood County Farm Bureau. Anybody who knew Jim Robertson knows what a great guy he was!
Mr. Robertson is survived by his wife Becky, his son John Richard (Debbie Toffler) Robertson of Bowling Green, his daughter Christine Lisa (Jon Larsen) Robertson Larsen of Longwood, Florida and his son Todd Patrick Robertson of Cypress, Texas, his grandsons Tyler and Chad Robertson, his brother Leslie Alfred Robertson of Perrysburg, his sisters Gertrude Anne Robertson of Kissimmee, Florida and Emily Mae Robertson of Toledo. James was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service for Jim at the Zoar Lutheran Church ,314 E. Indiana St., Perrysburg, OH 43551 on Friday September 7 at 11:00 am with Pastor Timothy P. Philabaum officiating.
In Jim’s memory donations are encouraged to the Zoar Lutheran Church.
