Jayne McKenzie of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away peacefully at home at 11:08 a.m. on July 17, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones joining her oldest son, Dan. She was born on November 19, 1932 in Oklahoma City, OK. to Grace and J.B. White. Jayne is survived by her husband of 68 years, Roger W. McKenzie, her younger sister, Virginia Strayer, daughters, Gayle and Virginia, sons, Mark and Roger, seven grandsons, one granddaughter and three great-granddaughters.
Jayne shared her talents as an interior designer at “Jayne’s Attic” in California during the 70’s and 80’s. Throughout her life, she’s shared her expertise and many talents with friends and family. Jayne was a positive force throughout her husband Roger’s Air Force career. For twenty years she helped coordinate social activities at the officer’s club for families while their husbands were away. She was also active as a leader in Boy and Girl Scouts, 4-H, Little League and always a terrific room mother! She kept Wood County Hospital’s cardiac rehab busy for twelve years! As many know her,” Gogo’s” Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 11:00 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in Bowling Green’s Historical District at 408 W. Wooster St. Visitation will begin Tuesday Morning at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
