Julie Ann Chesney, 63, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away on Friday May 3, 2024, surrounded by her loving children. She was born on January 19, 1961, to the late Homer and Elizabeth “Betty” (Reidenbach) Lynott. She married her husband whom she had known since second grade, David Chesney, on September 26, 1987. He preceded her in death on July 31, 2023.
Julie worked as an STNA at Bowling Green Manor for 27 years. She enjoyed the outdoors, going on vacations, camping with her family, reading her “romantic” books and her animals. Julie was a wonderful mother who enjoyed her life, her children and her grandchildren. Julie fought a strong fight against cancer and continued working as long as she could and stayed active up until her last days. She was a warrior for her children and will be dearly missed by all.
Julie is survived by her daughter Jessica (Joshua) Chesney of Pemberville, Ohio, son Brandon Chesney of Bowling Green, Ohio brother Timothy Lynott, sisters, Sandy Garvin, Kathy Gasser, Terry Lynott, 3 grandchildren Colton, Wyatt, and Cillian.
Along with her loving husband David, Julie is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Patrick Lynott.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Wood County Human Society.
Services will be private for the Chesney family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 W. Wooster St.
