On Saturday, Dec. 10, Julie’s Dance Studio presented “Holiday Spectacular” at the Star Style Theater, the former Woodland Mall movie theater, which has been renovated into a fabulous performance venue.
“Holiday Spectacular” consisted of two shows—a showcase of the younger dancers in the afternoon and a nighttime event featuring the older dancers. At the later show, the audience was treated to well-choreographed numbers that exhibited the skills of dancers whose techniques and performances could qualify for Broadway stages. Not only did the entire program display a professional group of dedicated dancers, but the entire theater appearance and staging were spectacular, brilliantly reflecting the holiday theme of “Holiday Spectacular.” The dancers’ performances transported the audience from the everyday world into the world of professionals.
