June Evelyn Butler, 91, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Wednesday October 10, 2018. Daughter of Don Farquharson and Ethel (Wall) Farquharson, she was born March 16, 1927 in Hoytville, Ohio. June worked at Marathon Special Products for 30 years before retiring.
June is survived by her sons, Don (Mame) Butler and Dan (Luci) Butler, as well as her daughter Diane (Dave) Christensen. She is also survived by her sister Jo Ann (Paul) Spitznaugle; grandchildren Shawn (Nicole) Butler, Heather (Jeff) Douglas, Brandon (Audrey) Butler, Clay (Emily) Christensen, and Hannah Christensen; step-grandchildren Shane (Rita) Hart, Steve (Becky) Hart, and Sheri Richardson; great-grandchildren Eya, AJ, Corbyn, and Kenna; step great-grandchildren Haley, Bradley, Lucas, Quinn, Colin, and Owen; and step great-great-grandchild Brantley. She is preceded in death by her husband William Butler, brothers Don (Mary) Farquharson and Vincent (Harryette) Farquharson, and sisters Geraldine (Lloyd) Creps and Catherine (Bus) Roe. June found tremendous joy in spending time with her family.
The family will be having a private graveside service at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Wood County Humane Society.
