The Bowling Green Exchange Club and Bowling Green High School have announced that Katherine Tyson is the March 2025 Student of the Month. Katherine is a senior at Bowling Green High School and will graduate on May 25, 2025. She is the daughter of Stephanie and Paul Tyson.
Katherine’s school honors and activities include membership in the National Honors Society and French Honors Society. Throughout high school, Katherine has participated in track and field and orchestra. In track, she was awarded as the Most Valuable Player for the girls team as a sophomore and junior. In orchestra, she has participated in the regional, honors, and Toledo Symphony Youth Orchestra for many years. Katherine has achieved four superior ratings in violin solos and three superior ratings in ensembles while competing in solo and ensemble competitions.
Outside of school, Katherine has worked at Ben’s Crafts for the past two years. Following graduation, Katherine plans to attend Bowling Green State University with a major in music education with a focus on strings.
