Kevin Douglas Peck, son, husband, father and friend to many, of Weston, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the young age of 43.
Kevin was born on July 3, 1973 in Bowling Green, Ohio to James “Jim” and Barbara “Barb” (Ott) Peck and they survive him in Bowling Green, Ohio. He married Rachael (Jeffrey) Peck on June 18, 2011 in New Smyrna Beach Florida, and she survives him in Weston, Ohio.
Kevin was a graduate of Bowling Green High School and was employed as an Operator for Hulcher Services, which specialized in responding to train derailments. He was a member of the Operating Engineer 150. Kevin was a man that had to always be busy doing something and loved “tinkering” around in the garage. Kevin loved being on the water riding jet skis and listening to all sorts of music with a good beat. Kevin was known for his cooking skills and the camaraderie of who baked the best pie between him and his dad. Kevin was a true family man and treasured the time spent with his family and friends.
Along with his parents and wife, Kevin is survived by daughters: Rachel (Tyler) Webster, of Anna, Texas; Hannah Poulin, of Weston, Ohio; Abbi Poulin, of Weston, Ohio; Shelby Peck, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sons: Brian and Bryce Poulin, both of Bowling Green, Ohio; brothers: Robert “Rob” (Angie) Peck, of Duluth, Georgia; Guy Peck, of Nashville, Tennessee; a grandson on the way: Baby Jackson; maternal grandmother: Dolores Ott, of Fort Myers, Florida along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kevin was preceded in death by a brother: Jay Peck; maternal grandfather: Earl Ott and paternal grandparents: Bob and Pat Wilson.
A Celebration of Life for Kevin will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 1PM-3PM in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster Street/P.O. Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Tele: 419-352-2171. Interment will be held privately for the family.
In Lieu of Flowers: Memorial Contributions in Kevin’s honor may be given towards his children’s educational funds.
