Kevin W. Yerger, age 61, of Luckey, OH, passed away on Saturday morning, February 25, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. He was born on December 19, 1955 in Lima, OH to Wayne and Earline (Lindsey) Yerger. After graduation from Shawnee High School in Lima, Kevin married Kathy Widder in April of 1987 in Elgin, Illinois. Kevin would go onto attend and graduate from Devry, BGSU and Owens College. He was a Registered Nurse for a number of years. Kevin’s hobbies included fishing, camping,attending Indy 500 races, ocean cruises and hiking with his wife. Among their numerous hiking journeys together included the Appalachian Trail.
Kevin is survived by his wife: Kathy Yerger of Luckey, OH, sister: Cathy McDorman of Delaware, OH, brother: Ron Yerger of Lima, OH, 4 nieces and 1 nephew. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 3-8 PM at the Marsh Funeral Home, 110 Main Street, Luckey, OH where funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. There will an additional time of visitation from 10 AM until time of service. Officiating will be Rev. Peter Johnston. Interment will be in Troy Township cemetery, Luckey, OH.
