The Kroger store in Bowling Green is hosting a food drive and a “Customer Appreciation Day” on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
All Kroger stores in this area will conduct in-store food sampling for each department, and the Kroger store on North Main Street is organizing a food drive during the event to collect donations for the Brown Bag Food Project. People are asked to donate unexpired non-perishable foods in jars, cans and sealed packages.
