It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kyle Robert Cramer, who left us on October 30, 2025, at the age of 54. He was born on June 26, 1971 in Findlay, Ohio. Kyle built a legacy as a loving husband, dedicated father, and an incredible Papaw.
Kyle is survived by his beloved wife, Sandi (Wheeler) Cramer, who stood proudly by his side through their many adventures. Together, they raised a wonderful family, including their children: Katie (Dana) Meeks, Chelsea (Derrick) Hill, Jesse (Kelsey) Cramer, and Kilee (Kyle) Bell. Kyle was not just a dad; he was the best Papaw to his ten grandkids and one on the way, spoiling them with his love, candy, and side-by-side rides.
He leaves behind his parents, Karl Cramer and Pat (Hollister) Altvader, and in-laws Darrell and Carolyn Wheeler, and a lively crew of siblings: Beverly (Jim) McMaster, Elizabeth Cook, Eric (Jodi) Giesey, Jimmy Petrie, D’aun Combest, David (Jeannette) Altvader, Julie (Rob) Cavey, and Wendi (Kevin) Kliesch. He was preceded in death by his sister, Deb Kimmel and his best buddy, Balboa, his chocolate lab.
A proud 1989 graduate of Van Buren High School, Kyle poured his heart into his work, owning and operating Cramer’s Painting and Wallpapering for 30 years. But it was the great outdoors that truly filled his soul. Whether it was mushroom hunting, fishing, or just enjoying a day out on the water, Kyle thrived in nature. His favorite retreat was the family cabin in Michigan, where countless memories were made.
In honor of Kyle’s incredible life, family and friends will gather for a celebration of his life at the Moose Lodge in Findlay on November 7th, 2025 from 4pm to 8pm.
In Lieu of Flowers, contributions in his honor may be gifted to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, Bowling Green. www.hannemanfuneralhomes.com.
