Lauretta Jean Eilert 92, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2017 at Bowling Green Manor.
Lauretta was born on July 7, 1925 to the late Donald and Lillian Plotner in Bowling Green, Ohio. She married Earl Eilert who preceded her in death. She graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1945. An avid bowler in many leagues at Varsity Lanes and Al-Mar, Lauretta was a member of the women’s Bowling Hall of Fame. She was also a member of the American Legion and VFW. Jean retired from Petti’s Restaurant in Bowling Green after working there for over twenty years. After retirement she enjoyed playing bingo, and spending time at the Wood County Senior Center. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl, daughter Deborah Sue Fentress and a brother James Plotner. Lauretta is survived by her brother: Donald of Columbus, MS., and many nephews and nieces.
