The Bowling Green League of Women Voters is sponsoring an information session on Issue 1 Monday, Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. at the Wood County Committee on Aging’s Bowling Green Senior Center, 140 S. Grove St, Bowling Green.
Issue 1, a proposed Constitutional amendment that would change the process for drawing Ohio legislative districts, is on Ohio’s ballot on Nov. 5. Many voters have expressed confusion about contradictory information they have received about Issue 1 and are unsure about the effects of the proposed amendment.
League members Debbie Dalke and Sharlyn Katzner will explain exactly how Issue 1 would change the redistricting process. They will also share the wording of the proposed amendment and answer questions about it.
