From BOWLING GREEN LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS
A presentation about “Skilled Nursing Facilities: Care Close to Home” sponsored by the Senior Concerns Committee of League of Women Voters Bowling Green Chapter will take place at the Wood County District Public Library, first floor meeting room, on Monday, Oct. 21, 7-8:15 p.m.
The presentation by Brooke Harrison of Bowling Green Manor and Jeff Orlowski of Wood Haven Health Care will include some history of the development of nursing homes, the Person-Centered Approach, people’s perceptions of nursing homes today, choices available for care and ways to plan.
Seniors, their children, friends and relatives are encouraged to attend.
