League of Women Voters of BG to host ‘Everyday Advocacy’ workshop

From LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF BOWLING GREEN

Today, some people are feeling overwhelmed by the state of the world, but they are unsure what to do about it. Those people are not alone, and they are not powerless.

The community is invited to join the League of Women Voters of Bowling Green for “Everyday Advocacy: Finding Your Voice in Challenging Times,” a practical, heart-centered workshop on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 6:30 p.m. at the Wood County District Public Library.

Whether an attendee is brand-new to advocacy or already engaged, this session will help offer clarity, community, and concrete tools to help them take the next step. Together, participants will explore what effective, sustainable civic engagement looks like – and how each person can help shape a more just and compassionate future.
