The Bowling Green Exchange Club and Bowling Green High School are proud to announce that Libby Barnett is the March 2024 Student of the Month. Libby is a senior at Bowling Green High School and will graduate on May 26, 2024. She is the daughter of Michael and Rachel Barnett.
Libby’s school honors and activities include membership in the National Honors Society and Spanish Honors Society. Libby played on the girls tennis team where she was a four year letter winner, two-year captain, and NLL Cardinal division Player of the Year in 2023. In addition to tennis, Libby is involved in the BGHS Musical, Madrigals, piano, and OMEA All-State choir. In 2022, Libby was selected to represent BGHS at the HOBY Leadership Seminar.
Outside of school, Libby is the student representative on the Downtown Forward Board that is run through the Mayor’s office in Bowling Green. Additionally, Libby volunteers at Firefly nights, Black Swamp Arts Festival, youth tennis lessons, and piano events. She currently has a job at Stone Oak Country Club as a tennis coach. She currently has a 4.34 GPA and an ACT composite score of 30. After high school, Libby plans to attend The Ohio State University and major in chemical engineering.
