From WOOD COUNTY DISTRICT PUBLIC LIBRARY

Youth ages 11 and older are encouraged to sign up to be a Volunteen at the Wood County District Public Library for the Summer Reading Program: All Together Now! Volunteens assist the library in a variety of ways, including registering readers, helping with programs, and organizing materials.

Schedules are flexible and the work is fun.

The Children’s Place is offering Volunteen Training on Saturday, May 20 from 2-4 p.m. and Sunday, May 21 from 2-4 p.m.  If Volunteens are unable to attend either training, Volunteens will be contacting to schedule another training. Volunteens only need to attend one training date.

Interested students should apply ahead of the training dates if possible, by visiting wcdpl.org/teens-can-volunteen-wcdpl and filling out the embedded Google Form.
