Library to host award-winning author & illustrator Micha Archer

Award-winning author and illustrator Micha Archer will visit the Wood County District Public Library to talk about her work and sign booksSunday, July 14 at 2 p.m. in the Bowling Green Library Atrium. 

Archer works in oil, watercolors, pen, ink and collage to create layered pieces for children’s books.

Books she’s worked on include the Caldecott Award-winning “Wonder Walkers” and the Ezra Jack Keats-Award-winning “Daniel Finds a Poem” as well as “Lola’s Fandango,” “The Wise Fool,” “Around the World in a Bathtub,” and “Girl Running.”

“Wonder Walkers” has been featured in the 2024 Dolly Parton Imagination Library Blue Ribbon selection list.

La Conexión will join this event to have students share ‘Wonder Walkers” in Spanish.

The Mazza Museum will sell copies of Archer’s books during this event. Titles that will be for sale include “Wonder Walkers,” “What’s New Daniel,” “Daniel’s Good Day,” and “Daniel Finds a Poem.”
