The next program of the Rhythm on the River Arts Series in Grand Rapids will be presented by Lincoln Street Therapy on Sunday, Sept. 21, at 4 p.m. The program will be held in the Wright Pavilion, located on the towpath between the canal and the Maumee River, at the end of Lincoln Street, behind LaRoe’s Venue. The event is sponsored by the Grand Rapids Historical Society and is free and open to the public.

Lincoln Street Therapy was formed by Tina Mae, who grew up in Fulton County. She will be joined by her daughter, Becca Lynn, and her brother, John Michael. The trio produce harmonies and have been performing at various venues around Ohio and neighboring states. Some people may also recognize Tina Mae as part of the Siberian Solstice group, which performs in Northwest Ohio in December. The group’s music is “all over the place,” according to Tina Mae. They play Merle Haggard, Fleetwood Mac, the Judds, Elvis, The Cranberries, Simon and Garfunkel, and more, along with some originals.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs or blankets. In case of rain, the program will be moved to the old fire station, farther west on Front Street.
