Lois Sheline, of Bowling Green, Ohio died peacefully in her home March 9, 2025. Lois was born in Oklahoma June 10, 1930 and raised in Hammensburg, Ohio. In 1946 she married Hugh Sheline and went on to enjoy a good life. Her life was forged from hard work, determination, and enjoyment of simple pleasures. She was forever a “farm girl”, actively helping with daily operations until becoming a secretary and bookkeeper for Cygnet Elevator. Lois next worked 29 years for Ag Credit. She transitioned from being a starting secretary to becoming the first female loan officer in Northwest Ohio and went on to become an assistant manager. After retiring in 1992 she worked briefly for First Federal Bank and then at Harrison Trucking and Body.
Lois found great pleasure in times spent with family, helping friends, and nurturing her lawn, gardens, and flower beds. Those who knew Lois well will most likely remember her spunk, spirit, and resolve for getting things done the right way.
Lois is survived by her son Timm Sheline, daughter Mary (Terry) Kronberg, three grandkids, Andrew Sheline, Drew (Michelle) Kronberg, Erin Kronberg, eight great grandkids, and seven great-great grandkids along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Sheline, grandson Toby Sheline, parents Lewis and Grace (Richmond) Garrison, brother Harry Garrison, and sister Delores Ann Gregory.
As Lois requested, there will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to your favorite charity. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home in Tontogany, Ohio.
