The City of Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department along with the College of Musical Arts at BGSU will again present free musical performances for the community at the Simpson Building, 1291 Conneaut Ave., on select Fridays.
People are invited to bring their lunches and come together as a community to socialize before the event. Hot and cold drinks will also be available for purchase as well.
The scheduled dates for these performances are:
- Jan. 24: A Musical Theater Extravaganza!
- Feb. 21: An afternoon with Chris and Ellen Scholl
- Feb. 28: Highlights from Mozart’s “Magic Flute,”featuring students from the BGSU Opera Theater
- March 21: Voice students from the studio of Dr. Sarah Luebke
- March 28: Shannon Lottie, flute, and Stephen Eckert, piano
- Friday, April 11, Winners of Wayland Chamber Music Competition
Doors open at 11:45 a.m. and the performances will be 12:15-1 p.m.
