Mary Ann Roach, 85, of Rossford, Ohio passed away Wednesday January 8, 2020. She was born August 5, 1934 in Bowling Green to the late Howard “Barney” and Martha (Stearns) Haskins. She married D. Dean Roach on March 10, 1956 and he preceded her in death.
Mary Ann attended grade school and high school in Oxford, Ohio before moving to North Baltimore before her senior year. She graduated from North Baltimore High School. She retired from the Department of Biology at Bowling Green State University.
Mary Ann was a member of the Rossford Senior Center, the Rossford Recreation Center where she participated in Body Recall, The Perrysburg Y where she enjoyed attending swimming classes and she was previously active in Mother of Twins.
She is survived by her children David (Dawn) Roach of Bloomdale, Ohio Duane (Rebecca) Roach of Elkhart, Indiana, Deborah DeLeon-Hosmer (Alan Hosmer) of Cygnet, Ohio and Diane (Mark) Wolff of Rossford, Ohio. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sisters Shirley Browne of Huber Heights, Ohio and Judy (Kent) Bradford of Van Wert, Ohio and sister-in-law Joan Haskins of Oxford, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband D. Dean Roach, brother John Haskins, brother-in-law Phil Browne and son-in-law Larry DeLeon.
Services will be private for the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
