Mary Capelle, 74, of North Baltimore, died at 5:33 p.m., Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green. She was born on May 15, 1951, in Bowling Green to the late Harry and Elizabeth (Presley) Smith. She married Richard Capelle on January 30, 1970, and he survives.
Mary is also survived by her son, Travis (Sheena) Capelle of Kenton; brothers: Russell, Harry and Mark Smith; sisters: Laura Basil, Shirley “Ann” Love, Bonnie Pierce and Sue Hankins; grandchildren: Mallorie and Trever.
Mary had worked at Briar Hill Health Campus as a Dietary Manager. She was a member of Village View Church in Bowling Green.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore.
