Michael McDaniel to perform at comedy night in Grand Rapids, Saturday, Sept. 20

The Grand Rapids Town Hall Committee and Historical Society of Grand Rapids have announced the return of “Comedy Night” in the historic Grand Rapids Town Hall on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 7 – 8 p.m. Stand-up comedian and impressionist Michael McDaniel will seek to entertain all ages with his physical comedy and celebrity impressions.

McDaniel has performed to crowds across the country for over a decade. His talents have helped him thrive as a host and performer. He has shared the stage with comedians Kevin Hart, Brandon T. Jackson, Mike Epps, Lewis Black, Dave Attell, Dave Coulier, Tony Roberts, David Alan Grier, and Donnell Rawlings of the “Dave Chappelle Show.” People may have seen him on Comedy Central’s “The Detroiters” as Mr. Alvin. He has also been featured in over 50 commercial projects. As a student of Second City, McDaniel has a passion for sketch and improv comedy, bringing a range of celebrity impressions.

Tickets will be $10 and are available at the Village Orchard or at the door.
