Mildred G. Garber, 85, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away on December 27, 2025. She was born on October 13, 1940, in Athens, Ohio to the late Orland and Mildred (Rife) Graham.
Mildred spent many years working in housekeeping at the Holiday Inn, Knights Inn, and Stony Ridge Inn. Above all else, she cherished her family and was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a devoted member of Plain Church in Bowling Green and found joy in music and cheering on the Buckeyes and the Tigers.
Mildred is survived by her sons Dan Garber of Bowling Green, Douglas Garber of Bowling Green, and David (Jan) Garber of Genoa; her siblings John Hatcher of Bowling Green and Lola Wilson of Bowling Green; her grandchildren Tiffany, Ashleigh (Jeremy), Kaylyn (Brandon), Chris, Andrea (Steve), Matt (Charity), Allyson (Mick), and Kaitlyn (Justin); and 15 beloved great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her brothers Marv, Mick, Bill, Jim, and Frank.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Plain Church in Bowling Green, Ohio located at 16011 W. Poe Rd. The funeral service will follow the same day at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeremiah Shawver officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Union Hill Cemetery in Bowling Green.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for all the staff at the Bowling Green Manor for their compassionate care and kindness.
