Miriam Louise (Frobose) Aufdenkamp, age 76, of Pemberville, OH passed away at home with her family near her side, on Sunday, February 16, 2025. She was born on January 19, 1949 to Loren and Ruth (Winzeler) Frobose in Pemberville, OH. Miriam later graduated from Eastwood High School in 1967. She later married Ralph William Aufdenkamp on October 19, 1968 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, New Rochester by Pastor David Koch.
Miriam worked at Wood County Hospital in the bookkeeping department. She quit working to raise their family of 3 children. She later worked 11 years doing child care. In 1989 she got back in the workforce and went to work for Digital Automation in Bowling Green as an administrative assistant until she retired. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, playing games, and reading (especially her Bible). As a woman of great faith, she was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Bowling Green where her ministries included: teaching Sunday school, taking part in the women’s group, and serving on the church council. She was also a member of the Middle Township Homemakers. With so many enjoyments in life, it was spending time with her family that gave her the most joy!
In addition to her husband Ralph, Miriam is survived by her children: Amy (Ben) Peters of Bowling Green, Melanie (Kevin) Boulis of NY, and Matthew (Amyjill) Aufdenkamp of WI. Grandchildren: Seth Peters, Lincoln Peters, Grant Peters, Christian Peters, Caleb Peters, Joshua Aufdenkamp, Jeannie Aufdenkamp, Levi Boulis, and Miliana Boulis. Siblings: Judy (Jim) Asmus-Hill, Jim (Marian) Frobose, Martha (Roger) Reffner, and Robert (Elaine) Frobose. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Joyce Asmus, Evelyn Todd and granddaughter; Danielle Boulis.
A Memorial Service will be conducted 11 a.m., Monday, March 31, 2025 at Hope Lutheran Church, 13507 Cloverdale Road, Bowling Green, OH. The family will receive family and friends from 10 a.m., until time of service. Officiating will be Minister Trent Shea McGrew. Miriam will be laid to rest at a family committal service in Fish Cemetery Pemberville, OH.
