From MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF BOWLING GREEN
After 32 years of dedication, compassion, and service, Liz Resler, a Lower Elementary teacher at the Montessori School of Bowling Green (MSBG), will retire at the end of the 2024/25 school year in May.
She is known to many as Miss Liz, but to those who know her best, know her as an educator who inspired young minds and will leave a legacy of exemplary Montessori teaching.
Originally introduced to Montessori through a job listing, Liz quickly fell in love with the
Montessori approach and materials, especially the way abstract math concepts were brought to life through hands-on, concrete learning tools. Over the years, Liz has mentored student teachers in collaboration with BGSU and helped support the before and after-care program.
“Liz has been a staple at MSBG and has influenced so many children’s lives over the years,” said Bev Bechstein, MSBG Executive Director. “She will be truly missed.”
To help honor her retirement, MSBG is organizing a card shower and invites all current and former students, families, and friends to send a card of thanks, share a memory, or
congratulations to Liz.
Send cards to:
