Academy Award–winner Morgan Freeman will join the Toledo Symphony Orchestra for his “Symphonic Blues Experience,” a powerful blend of music and storytelling that celebrates the soul of American sound on Thursday Oct. 30 at 8 p.m. in the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle.

Guided by the legendary voice of Morgan Freeman, this groundbreaking concert fuses live orchestral performance with Freeman’s in-person and recorded narration, bringing to life the history, culture, and enduring spirit of the blues. This is an immersive journey through sound, culture, and storytelling that stirs Freeman’s soul. It’s a sound world that shaped him.
The evening includes a pre-concert Q&A session with Freeman, followed by his live appearance at the top of the performance. Details for the Q&A will be shared closer to the event.
