Update: Motorcyclist dies after colliding with deer

A motorcyclist died early this morning (6-11-25) after colliding with a deer and then being struck by another vehicle.

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office reports that the crash occurred on 582 near Tontogany Road in Washington Township about 5:20 when a Honda Goldwing motorcycle operated by Jonathan Little, 53, Bowling Green, headed east struck a deer and ended in the middle of the roadway.

An Hyundai Sante Fe SUV, driven by Paul Turner, 36, Bowling Green, also eastbound then struck the motorcycle andLittle.

Little was pronounced deceased at the scene. Turner was not injured.

Assisting on location were Middleton Township Medic 680 EMS, Middleton Township Fire Department, BG Towing, and Frank’s Automotive.
