A Bowling Green area woman was cited for leaving the scene after she reportedly drove a vehicle into one of the large concrete flower pots in the downtown.
On Tuesday, around 9 p.m., the driver was southbound on North Main Street, when the vehicle drove off the roadway, striking one of the concrete planters sitting in front of the Bowling Green City Administration Building, 305 N. Main St.
The driver, identified by footage on downtown cameras, then left the scene. The driver, who is being treated for mental health issues, was cited for not stopping after an accident.
