Nancy Decker

Nancy Decker, age 77, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away on December 5, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on October 24, 1947, to Paul and Dorothy Parsons, who preceded her in death. Nancy was also preceded in death by her stepchildren Tim, Mike, and Renee Low.

Nancy is survived by her children, Laura Low of Bowling Green, Lisa Low of Tontogany, and Philip Low of Altoona, Wisconsin. She was a proud grandmother to Jacob and Maxwell Fausnaugh, Jeremy Fausnaugh, Harper Brandon, and Benjamin and Leah Warden.

A graduate of Bowling Green High School and St. Vincent’s School of Radiology, Nancy was known for her artistic and creative spirit. She had a knack for turning her imaginative ideas into beautiful works of art, whether through crafting unique arrangements, gardening, or sewing.

Nancy cherished life’s simple joys and was always ready for a spontaneous adventure. Her grandchildren will fondly remember the many spur-of-the-moment day trips she took them on, especially to her favorite spot—Lake Erie and Put-in-Bay.

She enjoyed lively Euchre nights, competitive backgammon games, camping, and lunch outings with her high school friends. Nancy was an avid supporter of her grandchildren, rarely missing their events and always cheering them on with pride.

Nancy’s life was a testament to creativity, love, and living fully. Her family and friends will miss her deeply but find comfort in the memories of her vibrant spirit and the adventures they shared.

A celebration of life will be held on a later date.
