Early voting has been a popular option with Wood County voters this election season.
A total of 20,980 voters cast ballots in early voting at the Wood County Courthouse for the general election, said Wood County Board of Elections Director Terry L. Burton.
The average wait time for early voters at the Wood County Courthouse Complex on Sunday was one hour and 15 minutes. An estimated 1,100 voters a day cast their ballots on Friday and Saturday, as hundreds more turned out on Sunday.
There is no more early voting. Polls are open on Election Day Tuesday, Nov. 5, from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. On Election Day, voters can only vote at their designated polling locations.
