New 55-plus walking club to start at community center

Want to build stamina with a low impact yet effective form of exercise?
Want to live a healthier life but don’t know where to start?
Or are you already a walker and simply want to take your walking to the next level?
Check out our new walking club at the Community Center! This program is designed for the 55+ crowd and offers a new walking workout posted daily.
Beginning November 6th and running in 6 week cycles with one recovery week.
You can jump in any time, and each workout is designed to be scored so you can easily track your progress.
A new workout will be posted on the whiteboard by the drinking fountain 6 days per week.
This Silver Sneaker friendly program will have two to three days in a row of walking, followed by a recovery day designed to help you recover faster and gain flexibility and range of motion. Do a couple a week or do them all, it’s up to you!
The club’s first walk will be on Monday Nov. 6.  Come on out to the Community Center any time during the day to get your first workout in.
No registration, no commitment, no hassle.
All we ask is that you submit your name and email at the fitness desk one time, so we can send you program updates and information.  Your email will not be used for anything else.
