Norma Lee Mathias, aged 86, passed away on April 30, 2025. She was born on November 26, 1938, to the late Joseph and Helen (Winton) Roberts.
Norma dedicated several years of her professional life working in the custodial department at Bowling Green State University.
She is survived by her children: Debbie Lee of Montgomery, Texas; Brenda (Kevin) Stoots of Bowling Green, OH; Tom (Diana) Mathias of Bay View, Ohio; Bruce (Tammy) Mathias of Cygnet, Ohio; and Roger (Helen) Mathias of Port Clinton, Ohio. Norma’s legacy continues through her 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, who brought joy and pride to her life.
Also mourning her loss are her cherished siblings: Peggy Solether, Dorthy Boggs, Wilma Matthes, and Jerry Roberts. Along with her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her sister, Margretta Gibson; and one great-grandchild.
The family will hold a graveside service to celebrate Norma’s life on May 5, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Portage Cemetery.
