Not In Our Town Bowling Green has released a statement regarding the mass shootings at two Christchurch mosques that killed 50 people in New Zealand.
Not In Our Town stands firmly with the Muslim community in our area and around the world. Our hearts are heavy with grief at yet another senseless act of violence at a house of worship.
There is no place in our world for bigotry and violence and we remain determined in our efforts to condemn hate and speak out against intolerance. Please – let’s agree to work together to create a society that is welcoming and inclusive for everyone.
