The Ohio Department of Transportation has updated its construction projects for Wood County. They are as follows:
Interstate 75 widening and reconstruction – I-75 between Buck Road and Monroe Street will be two lanes in each direction for major reconstruction. Lane restrictions and overnight ramp closures possible. Estimated completion: Fall 2023.
Ramp from Buck Road to northbound I-75 will be closed for reconstruction beginning Friday, Dec. 4 through July 2021.
Southbound Interstate 75, between Ohio 281 and Bays Road, work is complete.
Interstate 280, between Walbridge Road and Woodville Road – Northwood, may experience lane restrictions for culvert repair, Tuesday, Nov. 24, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
U.S. Route 6, between Rudolph Road and State Route 235, Bowling Green, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through November. Future restrictions may be announced for improvements at Route 6 and Route 235 intersection. Estimated completion: summer 2021.
Westbound U.S. Route 20/23 to southbound I-75 may experience lane restrictions for a traffic reconfiguration beginning Thursday, Nov. 19. The new configuration will offer two dedicated left turn lanes for southbound I-75 traffic, and one straight through-lane for westbound traffic.
State Route 64/Waterville Bridge replacement – Route 64 may experience lane restrictions for bridge work over the Maumee River. Memorial Park in Waterville is closed. Estimated completion: November.
State Route 582, between Luckey Road and Stony Ridge Road, Luckey, is closed for a culvert replacement. Detour: Route 23 to Route 105 to Route 199. Estimated completion: Thursday, Nov. 19.
