The Ohio Department of Transportation has updated its list of road and bridge projects in Wood County. Following are the projects that may affect motorists:
Interstate 475, between Ohio 25 and Ohio 65, will be reduced to one lane each weekend during the month of September for pavement repairs. Restrictions will be in effect beginning Fridays at 9 p.m. through Mondays at 6 a.m.
The following ramps will be closed for the weekends, Friday, Sept. 8 at 9 p.m. until Monday, Sept. 11 at 6 a.m., and Friday, Sept. 15 at 9 p.m. until Monday, Sept. 18 at 6 a.m.
- Northbound I-75 ramp to northbound Interstate 475. Detour: Northbound I-75 to westbound I-475.
- Northbound Route 25 ramp to northbound I-475. Detour: Southbound I-475 to northbound I-75 to U.S. 20 (Exit 193) to southbound I-75 to northbound I-475.
U.S. 6, between Henry/Wood County line and Wapakoneta Road, Grand Rapids, will be closed for two culvert replacements through September 22. Detour: Route 65 to Ohio 281 to Ohio 235.
U.S. 20, between I-75 and Simmons Road, Perrysburg/Rossford, will experience lane restrictions and closures for installation of a turn lane.
Route 25, between Cygnet Road and Route 6, Bowling Green/Portage, is open to through traffic. Lane restrictions are possible for final surface course application north of Portage, and for finish work throughout the project.
Westbound Ohio 105, between North Dunbridge Road and Carter Road, Bowling Green, will be closed for installation of a turn lane through September. Work performed under permit. Detour: Dunbridge Road to Poe Road to Carter Road.
Route 281, between Liberty Hi Road and Mitchell Road, Rudolph, is closed for a bridge replacement over the North Branch Portage River through September.
