ODOT reports on road and bridge projects that will affect motorists in Wood County

The Ohio Department of Transportation issued an update Friday on road and bridge construction projects that will affect motorists in Wood County. Following are those projects:

  • Interstate 75, between Ohio 795 and Buck Road in Rossford, will experience lane restrictions for reconstruction of the Lime City Road bridge through the summer. Lane restrictions will continue on Lime City Road following opening to traffic.
  • On southbound I-75, south of Route 795, the shoulder will be closed starting Tuesday for replacement of a noise wall. Temporary intermittent lane restrictions may be necessary but are not planned.
  • U.S. 20, between Crossroads Parkway and Lime City Road, will be closed for construction of a roundabout starting Tuesday, May 27, through mid-July. The detour is Crossroads Parkway to Route 795 to Interstate 280 to Ohio 420.
  • Ohio 582, between Ohio 199 and Pemberville Road, will be closed to thru traffic beginning Tuesday, May 27, through July. Local traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The detour is Route 199 to Ohio 105 to U.S. 23.
  • Route 582, between Route 199 and I-75, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing beginning Tuesday, May 27, through early June. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.
