Patricia Wenner

Patricia (Gunn) Wenner passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026 at Wood County Hospital with her family by her side.

Patricia (Pat) was born on October 19, 1942 to William and Marjorie (Fahringer) Gunn. She was the oldest of three children, and grew up on a small farm in Delta, Ohio. She shared a close bond with her siblings, Barbara (Dave) Lipps of Hillsdale, MI, and William (Gloria) Gunn of Wauseon, OH. Pat was humble and grateful, shaped by a modest upbringing.

After graduating from Delta High School, she went onto marry William (Bill) Wenner on November 10, 1961 at Zion Methodist Church in Wauseon, Ohio. The couple made their home in Weston, Ohio, where they raised their three children, Dave (Becky) Wenner of Cygnet, OH, Daniel (Heidi) Wenner of Easley, SC, and Deborah Wenner of Waukesha, WI.

Pat was a hardworking woman throughout her life. She began her career at a local bakery, later worked at Triplet Corp, and eventually spent many years at the Budd Company working in fiberglass repairs before retiring.

In the early 2000s, Bill and Pat moved to Bowling Green, Ohio. During this time, Pat spent many years generously devoting herself to lovingly care for her elderly mother, and faithfully supporting her husband throughout the entirety of his cancer care.

Patricia had a tender heart, and was easily moved by small acts of love. As the matriarch of the family, she most enjoyed traveling to visit her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also found happiness in simple pleasures, and enjoyed hobbies such as crocheting, putting together puzzles, and visiting her friends at the senior center.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her 2 siblings, 3 children, 9 nieces and nephews, 8 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday January 31, 2026 from 10:00 AM until the time of her Celebration of Life service at 12:00 PM at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, Bowling Green. Burial at Weston Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the burial, back at funeral home in the banquet hall.
