Paul Jacob Meier, age 41, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on July 1, 2025, due to complications related to chemotherapy.
Born on May 17, 1984, in Toledo, Paul was known for his warm heart, infectious smile, and unwavering dedication to helping others. He earned degrees from both Bowling Green State University and Lourdes University, pursuing a career in social work that reflected his deep compassion and commitment to serving others.
A devoted Detroit Tigers fan, Paul could often be found cheering on his team, whether at the ballpark or from the comfort of home. He loved spending time with family and friends, and his friendly, outgoing nature left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Paul is survived by his loving mother, Sally Meier; his siblings Jim Meier, Bill Meier, and Liz Meier; and many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Meier, and his grandparents: John and Doris Meier, and Daniel and Lucille Kolasinski.
Paul’s legacy of compassion, kindness, and connection will live on in the lives he touched.
