Shortly before noon today (Friday, 12/20) Bowling Green Police Division was contacted by a witness who stated that a pedestrian had been struck by a train near Napoleon Road. The Bowling Green Police and Fire Divisions responded and located a deceased male.
The Wood County Coroner’s Office was contacted along with CSX Transportation. The identity of the deceased won’t be released until relatives are notified. The incident is considered under investigation at this time.
