A Pemberville area man was fatally stabbed Monday (Sept. 29) evening at a residence at 1053 Devils Hole Road, outside Pemberville.
Raymond Dannenberger, 66, was found outside the home and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the stabbing at 9:13 p.m.
The victim’s son, Richard Dannenberger, 36, also of the Pemberville area, was located at a nearby residence and was taken into custody. He is currently housed at the Wood County Jail and is being charged with murder.
Assisting on the scene were Troy Township EMS and Fire, the Ohio Attorney General’s Bureau of Criminal Investigations, and the Wood County Prosecutor’s Office.
The incident is still under investigation.
