The Pemberville Public Library System is inviting the public to join an evening tour on Oct. 12 of Eisenhour Cemetery in Freedom Township. This will be the sixth annual historical cemetery walk.
Participants will walk along a lantern-lit path and learn about the cemetery and the lives of five historical figures from the Pemberville/Freedom Township area. Tour groups will be made up of 12 people.
Groups will meet at the Pemberville Public Library, located at 375 E. Front St. Transportation to and from Eisenhour Cemetery will be provided by LifeWise Academy – Eastwood.
Tours start at 4:55 p.m., and refreshments will be served at the library following the tour. This is a free event, and all are welcome to attend. Registration is required and can be done by visiting the library. For more information, call the library at 419-287-4012.
