The 6th annual Fall Into Rotary Park event, originally scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 19, has been rescheduled due to inclement weather. The new date is Sunday, Oct. 26 from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Perrysburg Rotary Community Park, 26350 Fort Meigs Road. This event is a free family-friendly celebration of fall. Presented by the Perrysburg Rotary Club and the Perrysburg Rotary Community Foundation, and supported by Mercy Health as the presenting sponsor, this event aims to provide an afternoon of fall cheer.
Highlights:
- Halloween Costume Contest
- PreK, K – 2nd grade, 3rd – 5th grade
- First and second place prizes for each category
- Trick-or-treat station
- Pumpkin and potato sack races
- Pumpkin and face painting
- Live entertainment
- A magician, balloon animal artist, and music
- Bounce house
- Meet Our Heroes
- Climb aboard fire trucks and sit in a police vehicle
- Free books
- Courtesy of Way Public Library, people can take home a gently used book
- Sweet treats and eats
- Complimentary doughnuts, cider, and hot cocoa
- Grab lunch from Off the Rail Food Trolley
Admission to the event is free with a non-perishable food donation for the Perrysburg Christians United (PCU) Food Pantry.
“This event just keeps growing,” said Tami Wise, event chair and past president of the Perrysburg Rotary Club. “Every year, more families come out, more volunteers step up, and the community spirit gets stronger. We can’t wait to welcome everyone again.”
