A Perrysburg woman was charged with OVI/refusal, child endangering and failure to yield the right-of-way on Monday (Jan. 5) in Bowling Green.
Bowling Green Police responded to a crash at North Main Street and East Newton Road around 6 p.m. Brittany Bettin, 38, had a child in the vehicle when she reportedly turned left into the path of a vehicle headed straight through the intersection.
According to the police report, Bettin had difficulty with the field sobriety tests, then refused a breath or urine test at the police station. After obtaining a warrant for a blood test, Bettin was taken to Wood County Hospital, then to Wood County Jail.
