Phyllis J. Waters, 89, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away January 29, 2025. She was born October 11, 1935 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Stanley and Della Mae (Oney) Terry. She married James Waters on August 31, 1985 and he preceded her in death in 2005.
Phyllis worked as a dispatcher for the Wood County Sheriff’s Department and also worked for Springfield Ohio Public Schools. She was a former member of Toledo Ski Club. Phyllis was a seasoned worldwide traveler and especially enjoyed her trips to Europe. She adored her cats and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Kim (Joe) Kramp of Bowling Green, grandchildren Jamie (Jamie) Cook, Jen Archambeau, Sara Hill, Christopher (Jessica) Chamberlain, Amber Black, Corey Koehler and Linsi Jackson and great-grandchildren Justin, Jeremiah, Madilyn, Makayla, Jack, Roman, Archer, Eva, Ada and Jalen. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband James and son Charles “Chip” Koehler.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday February 7, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 W. Wooster St. Interment will follow at Union Hill Cemetery in Bowling Green. Visitation will be held Friday morning at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service a 1:00 p.m.
