From BOWLING GREEN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Parade Project Team announces the 2019 Bowling Green Community Holiday Parade to be held Saturday, Nov. 23 stepping off at 10 a.m. The theme this year is “Polar Express: Next Stop Bowling Green” and we have contracted with WTOL Channel 11 to broadcast the parade live in a two hour commercial free production.
Our Grand Marshall will be Mayor Richard Edwards leading the parade. We are excited to honor the organizers of Firefly Nights, Laura Wicks of Grounds for Thought, Gayle Walterbach of Coyote Beads, Stacie Banfield of Mode Elle Boutique and Katie Thompson of Eden Fashion Boutique, all women business owners, with a special place in the parade as our Honorary Grand Marshalls. This parade is a way for us to celebrate accomplishments of businesses, individuals and organizations of our entire community.
Unit Registration and Sponsorship forms are now available at the Chamber office or on the website at www.bgchamber.net. The deadline to register units for the 2019 Annual Bowling Green Community Holiday Parade is 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4. Registration is $25 ($15 for Non-Profits), with the fees supporting the expenses incurred in the production of the parade.
Businesses that would like to support the Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s efforts to make this annual event possible can do so through a sponsorship or donation. This support will be recognized as outlined on the forms which can be downloaded from www.bgchamber.net . The completed form should be returned to the BG Chamber at 130 S. Main St., Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Sponsorship forms must be received by 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5 to be recognized in the media outlets.
The 2019 Annual Bowling Green Community Holiday Parade is presented by The City of Bowling Green, The Chamber of Commerce, Bowling Green State University, BG Convention & Visitors Bureau and Downtown BG.
