Bowling Green Police Division has arrested the man suspected of calling in a bomb threat Wednesday to an apartment complex.
Eugene Stokes, 39, of Bowling Green, was cited for inducing panic, which is a misdemeanor of the first degree, according to Police Lt. Dan Mancuso.
The bomb threat was reportedly called into the office of the apartment complex at 214 E. Napoleon Road around 1:37 p.m.
Stokes previously lived at the apartment complex, so police were able to identify him as the caller by phone records and because the office person receiving the call recognized his voice, Mancuso said Friday afternoon.
Officers responded to the scene, evacuated a portion of the complex and conducted a search, but no explosive device was located, Mancuso said.
